Why Aren't Customers Showing Up in My ServiceTitan Search?

If you're connected to ServiceTitan but not seeing any customers when you search in SetSale, don't worry — this is usually just a matter of how SetSale searches for job information. Here's what's happening and how to fix it.


How Customer Search Works

SetSale doesn't pull in a full customer list from ServiceTitan. Instead, it searches ServiceTitan for job information based on what you type. If you start typing a customer name and nothing shows up, it's because SetSale needs a bit more detail to find a match.


How to Search for a Customer

  1. Start typing the customer's information in the search field.

  2. If no results appear, click Create New Customer.

  3. Enter any of the following details:

    • Customer name

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Street address

    • City, state, or zip code

SetSale uses whatever you enter to search your ServiceTitan account for matching customers and jobs.

Quick shortcut: Click the Enter Contact Information Manually button. This lets you type in the customer's details right away, and SetSale will search ServiceTitan for matches in the background.
