Updates shipped August 22 – September 30, 2026

Highlights
- Checkout Studio is now the default checkout experience. Every account now uses our redesigned self-service checkout flow.
- SetSale Agent can guide you through the app. Our agent can read the page you are viewing, highlight the control you need, and suggest an existing quote before creating a new one. Chat supports private file attachments and voice dictation, while clearer activity summaries, timestamps, and support handoffs show what the agent is doing and where to continue a conversation.
- More powerful reporting for distributors and partners. Distributor dashboards and SetSale Intelligence now support year-to-date analysis, and activity feeds can be searched and filtered by date, activity, team member, contractor, or quote.
- More flexible quotes and catalogs. Sales teams can add or remove systems on a single quote option, owners can inspect a detailed price calculation, and install supplies now appear in one list with quantities based on the systems that need them. Catalog lists gained search and sorting, while spreadsheet imports now support discounts and tags.
Improvements
- Distributor bulk price imports. Distributors can submit CSV files with up to 200,000 price rows for background processing. Validation skips bad rows, flags duplicates, and produces a downloadable error report. Distributors can also remove inventory from a location before deleting it.
- Rebate and discount controls. Auto-add rebate rules can target SEER2 ratings, Utility is now a distinct rebate type, and rebate-type tooltips explain how each type affects pricing. Rebate names can be longer, and salespeople can arrange discounts in the order they want customers to see them without changing the calculation order.
- Smarter equipment matching. Quotes prefer the AHRI record that most precisely matches the selected models and preserve certifications for approved white-labeled equipment. Ductless matching accepts a slightly wider BTU range, multi-zone systems show all applicable outdoor brands, certified indoor air handlers can be sized up to five tons, and half-ton equipment sizes are available.
- Additional equipment by specification. System templates can select additional furnaces, heat kits, and other equipment automatically from requested sizing and applicable specifications, or keep a fixed model when that is the better fit.
- Better ServiceTitan workflows. Job search is available before a customer is selected and can fill in the matching customer and service address. Linking a won quote to a job now queues a fresh sync automatically, and complex option names no longer cause the wrong estimate to be selected.
- Richer HouseCall Pro syncs. Jobs now include accepted services and complete warranty details, including coverage, duration, and labels for additional indoor units. Customer searches provide clearer retry guidance, address changes are handled more safely, and sync failures appear in the quote activity feed with more useful context.
- Dark mode. Dark mode is available across the app alongside cleaner layouts, tighter spacing, and more consistent controls.
Fixes
- Palmetto-connected quotes now stop early with a clear message when the customer phone number is missing or invalid, and the Notice to Proceed email has a larger View Quote button.
- The load-calculation plan selector now opens with the customer's current plan selected instead of defaulting to the first option.
- Multi-zone ductless quotes can include whole-house fans, and changing to a multi-zone system no longer carries over brand restrictions from the previous system type.
- AHRI links now identify heat pumps from their heating ratings, preserving the correct directory program and improving equipment classification.
- Quote settings now use the clearer Supplies, Services, Upgrades tab order, and system-template sort controls show the current direction.
- Service names now support up to 255 characters, while rebate imports accept names up to 180 characters.
- Equipment changes are restricted to team owners, reducing accidental catalog edits while other team members retain view access.
