This article will guide you through the Quoting section in your SetSale settings, where you can pre-configure templates to streamline your sales process. These settings include managing favorite system matchups, add-ons, install supplies, and financing options.
Step-by-Step Instructions Navigate to the Quoting section in the left-hand menu of your SetSale dashboard. Here you will find several tabs to customize your quoting process:
General: This is where you can adjust general settings regarding your quotes. Currently, users can adjust whether the system sends automatic follow-up emails, and automatic expiration of quotes.
System Templates: This is where you can create and save specific AHRI matchups that the system will default to when you create a new quote. This allows you to quickly generate proposals for your most common system types.
Upgrades: In this tab, you can add and price additional products and services. This includes things like indoor air quality (IAQ) products and labor plans.
Services: Users can upload a list of Base Repairs that can be included in your equipment cost. Things like Capacitors, Compressors, or Blower Motor Repairs can be added into your total equipment cost to ensure pricing is quoted appropriately
Install Supplies: The system can bundle the cost of parts and supplies for different types of installations (e.g., gas, heat pump) and automatically add this cost to every relevant quote. This tab allows you to manage those bundles.
Financing Options: This is where you enter and manage your company's financing plans, including installment loans and promotional offers. The system automatically calculates and builds the dealer fee into the price for any financed job, ensuring you never lose money. Additionally, users can add an External Financing link, which will appear on the "Next Steps" when quotes are approved.
Tiers: This is where users can configure the names and colors of the different tiers offered to customers. Some contractors prefer something like "Good, Better, Best" pricing, or "Silver, Gold, Platinum" pricing.
