Getting Started with the JB Warranties Integration

Connect your JB Warranties account to SetSale and set which extended labor warranties appear on your quotes.

Written by Hayden Lewis

Note: The JB Warranties integration will be online June 2026.

In this article, you'll learn how to connect your JB Warranties account to SetSale and choose which warranties appear on your quotes. Once connected, SetSale applies the right JB warranty to each pricing tier automatically — no manual lookups.

How It Works

JB Warranties provides extended labor warranties for HVAC equipment. When you connect your JB account, SetSale pulls your available plans directly from JB through their API. You decide which warranties apply to each tier, and SetSale surfaces the matching coverage every time you build a quote.

With the integration connected, you can:

  • Apply a JB warranty to each pricing tier automatically.

  • Offer optional upgrade warranties customers can add.

  • Show JB branding on the quote.

Before You Begin

⚠️ Heads Up: You'll need your JB Warranties API key to connect. Find it in your JB Warranties dashboard before you start.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Connect Your JB Warranties Account

  • Go to Settings → Integrations.

  • Find the JB Warranties card and click Connect.

  • Enter your API key from your JB Warranties dashboard.

2. Configure Your Warranty Selection

Once connected, click Manage, and set your defaults:

  • Labor rate — set the labor rate used for warranty coverage.

  • Coverage type — choose the type of coverage to apply.

  • JB Branding — toggle whether JB branding appears on the quote.

3. Assign Warranties to Each Tier

  • Set the standard warranty and any optional upgrade warranties for each of your pricing tiers.

  • The JB API surfaces the applicable warranties automatically based on what you've selected.

  • Click Save.

What Happens on Your Quotes

Now when you build a quote, the JB warranty you assigned applies automatically to each tier.

Click Preview to confirm the included warranty and any upgrade option show up the way you set them.

Tips

  • Offer an upgrade warranty — giving customers an optional higher tier of coverage gives them a reason to protect their new system and adds to your ticket.

  • Set it once — because warranties apply per tier automatically, you don't have to re-select coverage on every quote.
