SetSale integrates with Energy Design Systems (EDS), an HVAC software platform built around residential load calculations. The integration connects your load calc results directly to equipment selection, so the system you recommend is sized for the home — not just pulled off a price sheet.
You can go from load calc to finished proposal without leaving SetSale.

What You Can Do With EDS
- Size equipment from real data. Load calc results show up while you're choosing system size, so your tiers match the home's heating and cooling needs from the start.
- Pull pricing and equipment options into your quote. No manual lookups or copying numbers between tools.
- Show incentives and rebates. Eligible incentives appear alongside your standard pricing in the customer-facing proposal.
- Build proposals faster. Everything happens in one workflow instead of two or three systems.
How Load Calc Usage Works
Every company gets 3 free load calcs per month with their SetSale subscription. Need more? Add a monthly plan:
- 50 load calcs — $50/month
- 100 load calcs — $80/month
Good to Know
- You don't need an EDS account to run load calcs in SetSale. Load calcs are included with your SetSale subscription and any add-on plan you choose.
- Equipment and pricing data come from EDS. Available options depend on EDS and your distributor relationship, and can't be edited inside SetSale.
- SetSale doesn't manage EDS accounts. For questions about an EDS account, load calc methodology, or supported equipment, contact EDS directly at eds.tech or 1-877-EDS-TECH.
