Over time, your Proposals dashboard can get cluttered with old or unused quotes. Here's how to keep things organized.
Cancelling a Quote
If a quote is no longer active, you can mark it as Cancelled to remove it from your reporting metrics and clean up your dashboard.
Open the quote you want to cancel.
Change the quote status to Cancelled.
The quote will no longer appear in your active pipeline or count toward your sales reporting numbers.
Quote Expiration
You can also let SetSale handle old quotes automatically.
Go to Settings > Quoting > General.
Enable Quote Expiration and set the number of days.
Quotes with no activity after the specified period will automatically be marked as Lost.
This prevents old, forgotten quotes from being accepted weeks or months later.
Tips
Cancelling a quote doesn't delete it permanently — you can still search for and view cancelled quotes if you need to reference them later.
Use the Quote Activity feed to check whether a customer ever opened a quote before you cancel it.
