How to Add and Update Equipment?

Add and update equipment by uploading the manufacturer's price books to maintain margins and pricing accuracy.

🔍 Overview

Accurate equipment pricing is essential for generating reliable proposals and recommendations. In SetSale, users with Owner permissions can manage equipment and upload new manufacturer Pricebooks to ensure the most up-to-date information!


🛠️ Steps to Update Equipment Pricing

  1. Log into your SetSale account

    1. Visit https://app.setsale.ai/auth/login and sign in as usual.

  2. Go to Settings on the left side of the screen

    1. From your dashboard, click the Settings dropdown in the left middle column

    2. Select Settings and navigate to the Equipment page

  3. Select Upload Pricebook

    1. From the Equipment page, identify the Upload Pricebook box in the right side of the page

    2. Select Upload Pricebook, which will refresh the page

  4. Upload your updated file

    1. Click or drag your manufacturer pricing book file into the file upload location in the middle of the screen, and upload it into SetSale

    2. Once the file is downloaded, select continue

  5. Add New Equipment

    1. After upload, SetSale will automatically reference our global equipment database and alert if there is any equipment that is missing or needs more information

    2. Update New Equipment, reach out to the SetSale team for help, or select Skip and Continue

  6. SetSale will sync all the Equipment

    1. Behind the scenes, SetSale will sync your PriceBook with brand information, product data, matchups, and pricing

    2. Select Finish
