How to View the AHRI Certificate for an Equipment Matchup

Written by Parker McNally
Updated over 2 weeks ago

AHRI certificates prove that specific equipment combinations meet certified efficiency ratings — helpful for rebate eligibility and customer confidence. SetSale makes it easy to access them.

Finding the AHRI Certificate

  • Open any quote where equipment has been populated.

  • Look for the green AHRI number on the quote configuration screen next to the equipment matchup.

  • Click the AHRI number. It's a direct link to the certificate on the AHRI directory website.

What the Certificate Shows

The AHRI directory page displays the certified ratings for that specific equipment combination, including SEER, EER, HSPF, and AFUE values. You can use this to:

  • Prove to a homeowner that their system qualifies for manufacturer or utility rebates.

  • Verify compatibility between indoor and outdoor units.

  • Provide documentation for permit or inspection requirements.

Tips

  • If an AHRI number is not showing, it means SetSale doesn't have a certified matchup for that specific equipment combination. Double-check the model numbers in your price book or reach out to your distributor.

  • Homeowners can access spec sheets and documentation directly from their quote link.
