Note: This feature is only available for SetSale Connect users.
Adding new contractors to your SetSale Connect dashboard allows you to manage their access and share equipment information with them. This guide will walk you through the process of sending them an invitation and assigning an exclusive license.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Log in to SetSale Connect: Ensure you are logged into your SetSale Connect dashboard. You can confirm you are in the correct place by checking that Dashboard is the first item in the left-hand navigation menu.
Navigate to Contractors: In the left-hand menu, click on the Contractors tab.
Add a New Contractor: In the top right corner of the screen, click the Add contractor button. A pop-up window labeled "Invite contractor" will appear.
Enter the Contractor's Email: In the designated field, enter the email address of the contractor you wish to invite.
Assign an Exclusive License (Optional):
You have the option to check the box to assign an exclusive license.
With an exclusive license: The contractor will not have to pay for their SetSale access, and they will only be able to see equipment and pricing information from your distributor.
Without an exclusive license: The contractor will still be connected to you, but they will be able to connect with other distributors as well.
Send the Invitation: Click the Send Invitation button. An invitation link will be sent to the contractor's email address.
Once the contractor accepts the invitation and creates their account, they will automatically be able to view the equipment and pricing that has already been loaded into your SetSale Connect system. You will also see them appear on your contractors' page under the list of Connected Contractors.
