What an Exclusive License Does

When you assign a contractor an exclusive license, you are providing them with a pre-paid, full-access account to SetSale. This means:

  • No Cost to the Contractor: The contractor does not need to pay for their own SetSale subscription, as the license is already covered by the distributor.

  • Dedicated Connection: The contractor will be exclusively linked to your distributorship. They will not be able to connect with other distributors through their SetSale account.

  • Controlled Visibility: The contractor will have visibility into the equipment, pricing, and information you have loaded into your SetSale Connect system. This ensures they are quoting and selling with your specific product lines.


How to Assign an Exclusive License

You can choose to assign an exclusive license when you invite a new contractor to your SetSale Connect dashboard.

  1. Start the Invitation Process: Follow the standard steps for inviting a new contractor.

  2. Select the Exclusive License Option: During the "Invite contractor" popup, you will see an option to assign an exclusive license. Check this box.

  3. Send the Invitation: Once you send the invitation, the system will automatically recognize the contractor as having an exclusive license.
