What's New: Flexible Presentations

Written by Parker McNally

Overview

SetSale's Flexible Presentations feature replaces the legacy single-presentation system with a fully customizable, multi-presentation experience. You can now create multiple presentations, tailor slides to your business, and assign the right presentation to the right quote.

This update rolls out automatically — you don't need to opt in or take any action. Your existing presentation content will be migrated to a new format called SetSale Classic, and all the edits you've previously made (warranty info, system details, etc.) will carry over.

What's Changing?

Here's a quick summary of what's different:

Before (Legacy)

After (Flexible Presentations)

One presentation for your entire team

Create and manage multiple presentations

Limited slide editing (toggle slides on/off)

Full control: add, remove, reorder, and edit slides

English/Spanish toggled within one presentation

Each language is its own separate presentation

Slide-based click-through format only

Slide mode and scroll mode (modern web-page style)

Fixed theme colors

Customizable primary and secondary brand colors

What Stays the Same?

  • Your existing presentation content is automatically migrated to SetSale Classic within the new system. Nothing is lost.

  • The quoting workflow is largely unchanged — you'll just see a dropdown to pick which presentation to use instead of the old English/Spanish toggle.

  • Narration and audio still work in slide mode.

  • Slide visibility rules (showing/hiding slides based on system type or manufacturer) still apply and have been expanded.

Key Concepts

  • Presentations Home Page When you navigate to Presentations, you'll now see a home page listing all your team's presentations. From here, you can open, duplicate, or create new presentations.

  • SetSale Classic This is your legacy presentation, migrated into the new system. It contains all the same content and edits you had before, just in the updated format.

  • Layouts & Content Library When adding new slides, you'll choose from a library of layouts (text, images, cards, graphs) and pre-built content sections. You can also save your own custom slides to the content library for reuse across presentations.

  • Scroll Mode A new presentation format that displays content as a scrollable web page instead of click-through slides. This is designed for a better experience on phones and tablets. Scroll mode does not include narration (audio voiceover).

Who Can See What?

All users within a team have access to all of that team's presentations. There's no user-level scoping — if a presentation exists for your company, any sales rep on the team can select it when building a quote.

Presentations are team-specific, so you won't see presentations from other companies or teams.
