What Should I Do if I'm in a Basement with No Internet?

SetSale is a web-based platform, which means it requires an internet connection to create, edit, and send quotes. There's no offline mode at this time — but here are a few ways to work around connectivity issues in the field.

Tips for Low-Connectivity Situations

Before the Appointment

  • Pre-load the quote while you still have signal. If you open the quote builder before heading into a basement or dead zone, some data may remain accessible in your browser.

  • Use your phone as a hotspot. If your tablet loses Wi-Fi, tethering to your phone's mobile data can keep you connected.

During the Appointment

  • Collect information manually. If you can't get a signal, jot down the customer details, system specs, and any notes you'll need. You can build the quote in SetSale as soon as you're back online.

  • Step outside briefly to pull up the quote on a stronger signal, then return to present from your tablet.

After the Appointment

  • If you gathered details offline, create the quote from anywhere with internet access and send it to the homeowner's email. They can review, select their tier, and sign digitally from their own device.

Will SetSale Ever Have Offline Mode?

We're always evaluating ways to improve the field experience. If offline quoting is important to your team, let us know — your feedback helps shape our product roadmap.
